Dakini is an upcoming Comedy Film Directed By Rahul Riji Nair Distributed by Friday Film House. Movie Starring Chemban Vinod, Indrans, Alencier, Aju Varghese, Saiju Kurup, Pouly Valsan, Sethu Lakshmi, Sarasa Balussery, Savithri Sreedharan.
Rahul Riji Nair is the director of movie 'Ottamuri Velicham' which has won the Best Feature Film Award of Kerala State Film Awards 2017. He has done a number of short films in malayalam.
Dakini movie tells the story of four female senior citizen and their friends. Dakini tells how Molikkutty's long lost lover Kuttan Pillai come back to reclaim his love, but theses women endup in trouble with underworld Don Mayan, his brother Indran and his father Ex-Don Raju Bhai. Aju Varghese takes the role of Kuttappayi and Saiju Kurup as Vikraman. These two help Dakinis to take down Mayan.
As you can see from the characters of the story are similar to the characters of "Mayavi" in Balarama Children weekly. This itself indicates the film is a comedy flick.
Chemban Vinod plays well the role of Mayan in style, Raju Bhai is played by Indrans, Alencier plays the role of lover of Mollykkutty as Kuttan Pillai.
